Seven Days of Grace

I'm feeling under the weather today; so, in lieu of a long post, I'm going to to share some things I'm thankful for this week and know that seeing grace in all of these things is only possible through the sacrificial love of Christ.
  1. Hearing that my child is picking up new math concepts quickly in school; I know she doesn't get this from me. I'm so grateful that this skill is easy for her.
  2. Sharing meals and fellowship with family and friends a couple times throughout the week.
  3. The ladies of my church who are willing to share their hearts - including some of their deepest burdens and how they've been transformed by grace - with our small ladies group.
  4. Having all of the laundry in the house clean, folded, and put away (for a second anyway).
  5. Tree blossoms and fresh cut grass; even though I'm allergic to both, they are symbolic of the new life we experience through Christ.
  6. Experimental recipes that turn out well.
  7. Time for a photo walk with my husband and kids.
  8. Hugs and kisses from my little ones who know I don't feel well.
  9. Making it home with minutes to spare as we raced a big storm through town to roll up the windows on my car.
  10. Some of the free e-reader books I picked up this week.
  11. My family member was hospitalized mid-week and came out with the situation controlled. Praise God, the Great Physician.
  12. The ability to lean on Christ in times of sickness, as minor or serious as it may be.
  13. Seeing my children apologize to one another without my coercing.
  14. Recovery/only minor injuries being seen in my neighbor/sister-in-Christ who was involved in a multi-car accident.
How have you seen grace in your life this week? If you feel so compelled, please share below. :)

  1. Your NO. 4 is the one that brings a smile to my face as I look around my house full of laundry to be put away. That is the most difficult part for me, but it feels SO good when it is done!
