There was  much spiritual bondage related to my sugar addiction, but there was a chemical aspect to deal with as well. I saw several doctors over the years, insisting they order me a blood work panel because "something" felt terribly wrong with my blood sugar. It had to be. After-all, every time I didn't have sugar in my body, I felt like I was dying. Going nuts. Having anxiety. Feeling weak. Feeling helpless. The lab results came back normal...every single time. I just couldn't understand, until I started doing some research.

I was using sugar as a drug, unknowingly. Every time my sugar high would start to break, I would bounce it back up with more sugar. As you can imagine, this caused a lot of weight gain as well as problems with my endocrine system. I didn't realize I was doing this until I tried to get off sugar. I didn't even know sugar addiction was possible. It's a very real thing and very closely related to alcoholism (which is also common in my family). When I skipped out on the sugar, I wasn't experiencing a medical problem, I was experiencing an addiction problem.

I didn't think it was possible for me to live without candy and chocolate and cookies, simple carbs and soft drinks. I thought I would surely die, because that's how I felt when I tried to quit.

Then, a friend living hundreds of miles away, who saw my posts on social media asked me if I had ever heard of Shakeology. I said "no." And, "no thank you." I was afraid. I don't like medicine. I don't like supplements. I don't like spending extra money.

But, as the days went on, I started reading. I read all about the awesome health benefits of ShakeO. I read and watched videos on ShakeO testimonies, recipes, facts, etc. I decided to try it. Yes, it seemed expensive, but at the same time...I've let an awful lot of produce go bad by not eating it quick enough. So, I decided to give it a try.

Shakeology really did help me ward-off sugar cravings in the early days. It's a Low Glycemic food, which helps control blood sugar (avoiding those nasty spikes and plunges that we see when we're addicted and feeding our bodies with simple sugars). I was sold after the first shipment and signed on to be a Coach. I knew that I could help others understand this addiction in the same way that I was helped.

Shakeology didn't break the deep issues of my addiction, Jesus did. BUT, it sure helped the cravings and side effects I experienced from the physical aspects. I highly recommend it.

If you want to know more, please send me a message. I'll be happy to help you!!
